Marissa Nadler Teases New Album Featuring Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen, Kristin Kontrol and Patty Schemel

Marissa Nadler has been hard at work in the studio recently, and Brooklyn Vegan has reported that she is nearing completion of the recording, with the album set to feature plenty of collaborations from the likes of Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen, Kristin Kontrol, and Patty Schemel. Fans can expect more of the haunting and dreamy soundscapes that have won Nadler a legion of fans in the underground indie/dream pop scene.

Nadler also recently released a series of cover songs via Bandcamp, including an inspired rendition of The Cure’s “A Forest.” Known for her powerful and gripping live shows, Nadler’s new record promises to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Nadler’s last release came in 2016 in the form of the stunning Strangers, which featured plenty of strong songs such as the swirling “Rosemary.”
