Death Cab For Cutie Announce Fall 2018 Tour Dates and Hint Summer Release of New Album

The legendary Death Cab for Cutie is back, with the group announcing a run of North American tour dates for this fall. These dates will be the first chance fans will get to see the group unveil new material, as they have confirmed that their new record has been completed, with a release date slated for later this summer. Fans have been eagerly awaiting new material from the group since 2015’s awesome Kintsugi. The band recently released a short teaser video for the new album, with a small clip of a new song along with text reading “August 2018.”

Last year Death Cab for Cutie released their first live recording, taken from their first ever concert in 1997. The acoustic set was recorded in a house with 25 people attending, and it offers a rare glimpse into the beginnings of one of the most revered indie rock bands of the past twenty years.
