Mogwai has recently released “Donuts”, which will be a part of the soundtrack for the upcoming film Kin. As mentioned by THEPRP, the film will be released on August 31st. This follows the band’s release of Every Country’s Sun and the release of the video for “Crossing the Road Material”.
KINS is a Lionsgate studio presented film written by Daniel Casey. The action and sci-fi movie stars Dennis Quaid, James Franco, Carrie Coon, Zoe Kravitz and more. The movie involves a vengeful criminal chasing the feds and a gang of soldiers and a recently released ex con. While being chased by the criminal, the feds, gang of soldiers and the ex con are forced to go on a run with weapon “of mysterious origin” as protection. The trailer can be watched below.
The song has a harmonic tone with an increase in instrumental volume as the song increases. The tone continues with light drumming. The song can be heard below.
