Maha Music Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Father John Misty, TV On The Radio and The Kills

Tech, entrepreneurism, and music come head to head in this year’s Maha Music Festival. Maha, which started 10 years ago in Omaha, Nebraska, has announced it’s expanding to a two-day lineup featuring such acts as Benjamin Booker, Father John Misty, The Kills, Weezer, TV on the Radio and more. The festival is scheduled for August 16th through the 18th in, of course, Omaha Nebraska and is, according to Go, taking it to the next level by acquiring Big Omaha, a conference of business and entrepreneurial leaders.

The synthesis of music, art, business and culture may prove a perfect breeding ground for networking and entertainment contained in a single festival. “It’s hugely exciting,” Maha’s executive director Lauren Martin recently said. “We want to be part of creating a platform that attracts all different kinds of people from all over Omaha, and really the music is just the hook to get them there.” Martin went on to say, “When they’re there, they get to see local artists and everything from Omaha Girls Rock to slam poetry. It’s all stuff that’s really reflective of our unique community.”

Maha should indeed be a unique experience with acts like Father John Misty and TV On The Radio heating on the stage.  Here’s a list of acts:

-Benjamin Booker

-Father John Misty

-Hop Along

-Hurray For The Riff Raff

-Ravyn Lenae

-TV On The Radio

-The Kills

-Tune-Yards

-U.S. Girls
