Moses Sumney Uses Lovely Visuals in New Video for “Quarrel”

Soulful artist Moses Sumney has released a new video for his song “Quarrel” It is the latest single from his album Aromantcism, released September 22 of last year. According to SPIN, the video was directed by Sumney and Allie Avital. Sumney released “Quarrel” in August of last year. The song was produced by Cam Obi and Joshua Wiling Halpern, along with Thundercat playing the bass for the song and is being described as “Otherwordly.”

The video is the first released by Sumney this year, following “Doomed” released in June of last year The seven-minute video shows bond between Sumney and a horse which is later revealed the horse was a part of a sculpture with Sumney. Sumney recently performed at The Academy Awards with Sufjan Stevens, St. Vincent, and Chris Thile. His album, Aromanticism is available now via Jagjaguwar, his record label. Sumney is slated to perform at a numerous amount of festivals this year, including the Haven Festival alongside Arcade Fire and Unknown Mortal Orchestra August 10th and 11th, Sumney recently played the Laneaway Festival with Anderson .Paak, and The Internet in Austrailia and will be playing Coachella in Indio, CA this upcoming weekend.
