Immersion (Featuring Colin Newman of Wire) Announce New Album Sleepless for June 2018 Release

Sound and art duo Immersion have announced they will release their new album Sleepless on June 15 via Swim. The duo is based out of Brighton, UK and is made up of Wire frontman Colin Newman and Minimal Compact’s Malka Spigel. The album is the follow up to 2016s Analogue Creatures Living on an Island and will yet again feature a crippling collection of instrumental beauties.

The first single and video for “Microclimate” has been premiered by Stereogum. The song is a perfect blend of electro synths and orchestral dynamics and it creates a beautiful landscape for listening. As the track progresses it moves through hauntingly beautiful spaces and leaves the listener searching for more. The ten track album will feature much of the same formula as it crashes through a wide range of thoughts and emotions.

Pre-orders for Sleepless are available now. Below is the track listing for the new album.

1. Microclimate
2. Off Grid
3. MS19
4. Sleepless
5. Propulsoid (with Matt Schulz)
6. Hovertron
7. The Humming Sea
8. Manic Toys
9. Seeing is Believing (with Hexenschuss)
10. Io
