Dreamhack is a digital festival and gaming party that makes a few stops around the country and a few international stops as well. The world’s largest digital festival has more than just streaming, gaming, and electronic fun, though. The festival books a few groups to perform live music for the crowds, and Austin’s DreamHack 2018 lineup features PegBoard Nerds, Tokyo Machine, and Krewella.
Tokyo Machine is a unique electronic artist with a vibrant sound. Known for wearing a signature Zig-Zag patterned ski googles and mask, Tokyo Machine is ready to play for the crowd, including a new song “Cookies”. With the support of many big-name artists and a worldwide fan-base, this will surely be a great performance. Next is PegBoard Nerds, an electronic duo, released a dubstep-style EP near the end of 2017 that broke a Billboard Top 10 Electronic Album record for the year. The group, made up of Norwegian DJ Alexander Odden and Danish DJ Michael Parsberg, just wrapped up their 2018 “Super Sonic” tour, and will make their way to Austin for the show at the beginning of June. Finally, Krewella, a sister duo with a fierce electronic sound. The group is known for sound and dance when performing, so get ready to rock the dance floor. Krewella has a very large following and is currently on a large international tour, so don’t miss their show when they come to Austin.
