English rock band Killing Joke announced their 40th anniversary world tour on April 1st. The “Laugh At Your Peril Tour” begins on September 1st in Seattle, WA with a leg of North American shows. The tour ends on November 17th in London. According to ConsequenceofSound the band’s frontman Jaz Coleman is teaming up with the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra. Coleman is collaborating with the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra to make new versions of classic Killing Joke songs from the band’s entire career.
The last full album that the band released was Pylon in 2015. Pylon is fifteenth album produced by the band and the third album written by the original lineup of Jaz Coleman, Youth, Geordie Walker and Paul Ferguson. The band released the music video for their single “Euphoria” in January 2016 after the postponement of their Winter 2016 tour. According to mxdwn ,“Euphoria” follows the performance of Killing Joke live with some animations that make it crazy and as violent as one would expect”.
