San Francisco’s famous festival Outside Lands returns to Golden Gate Park this August 10th-12th, with the lineup released one act a time. So far, headliners include Janet Jackson, Portugal. The Man, and rising Bay Area rappers SOB x RBE. Growing every year since 2008, the festival also features food, art, eco-friendly products, and wine tasting.
The festival has been announcing the acts on social media by dropping hints involving zoomed-in pictures of the artist’s recent projects, but Brooklyn Vegan reports that the full lineup is planned to be released on Tuesday with the general on-sale tickets. Janet Jackson, who was just announced as the headliner for the FYF Festival earlier today, will also be headlining Panorama in NYC and the Essence Festival in New Orleans. Portugal. The Man have been touring their successful pop-hit “Feel It Still” ever since its release last year, and rappers SOB x RBE were just featured on the Black Panther soundtrack before releasing their debut studio album Gangin‘.
Recently added acts include Rex Orange County, BØRNS, Big Gigantic, Jessie Ware, Mac Demarco, and Huey Lewis and the News. Check out the “clues” promoted below, and get your tickets for Outside Lands on Tuesday here.
