Leon Bridges is an American R&B singer who is gearing up to release his upcoming new album, a follow-up to his 2015’s Coing Home. Good Thing is the singer’s sophomore LP and is set to come out May 4th via Columbia. Today, Bridges has revealed a new track, “Bad Bad News” accompanied by a dance filled music video.
The video for “Bad Bad News” is directed by Natalie Rae and opens with every girl’s nightmare. Walking home, alone, at night. The woman in this video, played by writer and model Paloma Elsesser, is seen walking alone on a empty train platform. She nervously looks around as she heads home. Though, something catches her eye. She follows the sound of music and discovers Bridges and his bandmates in a underground hidden jam session. Here, the video takes an interesting turn. She becomes possessed by the music, she begins dancing as if unable to control her own body. Elsesser dances and wanders across New York at night in a dark and yet, magical way that moves not just herself but those watching.

Bridges also has a headlining tour in support of his new album Good Thing. He’ll have support from John Batiste, Stay Human, Masego and Khruangbin.
