Two Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar Collaborative Demos “Don’t Jump” and “Liberated” Released Online

While Kanye West might be up in the mountains of Wyoming recording new material, fans still haven’t forgotten that the rapper once tweeted back in 2016 that he had forty songs with Kendrick Lamar and Young Thug. Early this morning, we got our first taste of what those illustrious rappers put together, besides The Life of Pablo’s “No More Parties in L.A.,” with two leaked SoundCloud demos.

As Billboard reports, the two short demos surfaced on SoundCloud this morning, but have since been removed. The first of the two demos, entitled “Don’t Jump,” was only a little past a minute long with the volume fading in and out, but included Kendrick rapping about “bloody Jordans” and “America’s future” over a dark and brooding beat fit for the aesthetic of The Life of Pablo sessions. The second demo, “Liberated,” seemed to be an early working of “Father Stretch My Hand Pt. 1,” as Lamar once again rapped vigorously and quite crudely, stating: “I really need confirmation/Your love is an abomination/F**king you is like bombing nations/Area 51 in the p***y.”

The early shelf life is quite normal for Kanye leaks, as most are taken down before the day is through, but with Kanye reportedly working on new music, we shouldn’t have to wait very long to hear new material from the legendary rapper and producer. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar has been insanely busy from the Black Panther soundtrack to his upcoming T.D.E. Championship tour. With any luck, the amazing material might surface once again, or the two might even collaborate on Kanye’s upcoming next project.
