Run the Jewels at First Ever Adult Swim Music Festival Oct. 6-7th at the Row DTLA

Music inspires us all – whether that be to create more art or simply to get out of bed and brush our teeth in the morning. Music informs the way we live our lives – how we interact with friends, how we communicate, and what other types of media we consume. Jason DeMarco, VP and Creative Director of On-Air at Adult Swim, distinctively recognizes this and it is clear through his use of music to define a network and the overall brand of Adult Swim.

Known for their creativity, and ability to push industry standards towards more artistic risks in music, comedy, and animation style Adult Swim is now taking the next step in expanding their creativity with their debut music festival on Oct. 6-7. After many years of supporting independent artists, and even producing music themselves, Adult Swim is now creating an all immersive experience with not only live music, but also feature screenings, interactive gaming, and comedy performances.

The musical lineup is headlined by Run The Jewels, a natural choice since Jason DeMarco himself introduced Killer Mike and El-P and thus created a hip hop power duo. With this, the event will take place at ROW DTLA, a historical landmark redesigned and defined as an all inclusive creative space. ROW DTLA has hosted yoga classes to parties for Adidas, and it is now the birthplace of Adult Swim’s first ever music festival – don’t miss out on October 6th and 7th.
