Sziget Festival has announced the lineup for their 2018 event in August 8th to August 15th at Budapest, Hungary. This year’s lineup features Gorillaz, who has released Humanz, Arctic Monkeys, who has announced summer tour, and Lana Del Rey, who has covered Madonna’s “You Must Love Me”.
Sziget Festival is an annual festival that includes genres such as rock, metal and pop. The festival started in 1993. Previous artists that have performed are Faith No More, Rise Against, and Imagine Dragons.
This year’s lineup includes the headliners, Arctic Monkeys, Dua Lipa, Gorillaz, Kendrick Lamar, Kygo, Lana Del Rey, Mumford & Sons, and Shawn Mendes. Other artists that will be performing are Liam Gallagher, Bastille, Lykke Li, Stormzy, Parov Stelar, The War on Drugs, The Kooks, MO, Nick Murphy FKA Chet Faker, Kaleo, Zara Larsson, Gogol Bordello, Clean Bandit, Blossoms, Fever Ray, Milky Chance, Borns, Wolf Alice, Lianne La Havas, Desiigner, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, ASAF Avidan, Little Dragon, Cigarettes After Sex, JP Cooper, Gorgon City, Goo Goo Dolls, and Fink. More artists are to be announced.
There are accommodations such as camping sites, villages, houses and hotels in or around the area of the festival. The area could be reached through planes to the Liszt Ferenc Airport (BUD), and a direct shuttle bus of Sziget-Budapest Citypass, or through train or car. Tickets can be bought through the festival’s website.
