Tonight’s Bud Light Roots Jam has been cancelled due to a security concern after a reported bomb threat was called in. Questlove confirmed the news that the show would be canceled around 8:30 local time in a tweet that has since been deleted. The show was set to take place at Fair Market , where a staffer for the Austin Chronicle overheard organizers discussing a bomb threat.
Due to a security concern we have made the hard decision to cancel tonight's event. Your safety and the safety of all fans at SXSW is our most important priority.

The according to a set list, the show was going to include appearances from Daniel Rateliff, Dermot Kennedy, Ludacris, Daryl McDaniels (DMC of Run DMC) and Jessie Reyez.

One tweet remained from Questlove after the commotion. It seems to indicate that the band and organizers are taking a “better safe than sorry” approach to the set.
