Benicàssim Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Justice, Pet Shop Boys and Liam Gallagher

The lineup this year’s edition of Benicassim Festival has been announced. According to the official website, The Killers, Liam Gallagher, Pet Shop Boys and Justice are only a few of the main artists who will take the stage on July 19-22.

The festival has been taking place in a small town north of Valencia every mid July since 1995 and according to what Spanish Fiestas says, it has been turning a small, quiet coastal town in one of the biggest Spanish Festivals.

For those interested in camping, the site is available for 9 days and the festivities usually start each day around 5pm and don’t stop until 8am on the following day.

Artists of the caliber of Brian Wilson, Leonard Cohen, Iggy Pop, The Cure, Bjork, Oasis, Blur and Lou Reed have performer at FIB and this year’s list of headliners is surely not disappointing. Four stages will host performances from more than 100 artists and some of the best djs around will take the wheel once the music stops.

Benicassim has been sponsored, for the past few years, by Heineken and music is not the only primary attraction that makes this event famous around the globe. art, theater, cinema and fashion shows are always paired with music happening on Escenario Verde stage, the Biberfib, FIB-Club and Pista Pop tents as well as the Mustang Fashion Tent.

The area is an overall 120,000 square metres, which offers more than enough room for shopping sites and eating facilities to recharge your batteries between a show and another, located, most importantly, only a few feet from the sea.

Luca Di Fabio: I'm a musician, writer and art aficionado. After spending my youth and teenage years studying music, I developed a fervent interest in writing. I studied political science in Turin, Italy while simultaneously working for three different online newspapers, where I was in charge of producing content, editing and assisting the editor-in-chief. After spending a year in London at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, I completed a Certificate in Songwriting and decided to move to New York City where I enrolled to the New School, from which I graduated in December 2017, majoring in Liberal Arts.
