Modern hardcore band Integrity was denied a chance to perform at SXSW, due to the show being suddenly cut short. The band was scheduled to get on “stage” after colleagues Iron Age and No Warning, but never did.
The Bridge isn’t really a venue, but a place to see music with no walls, nor doors. It is, in fact, a bridge. Organizers place a generator there late at night (usually around 3 in the morning) and bands perform right on the pedestrian bridge crossing the Colorado River in Austin.
However, as Brooklyn Vegan revealed in a tweet, the show got cut short before Integrity could perform. The band has released their latest record Howling, for The Nightmare Shall Consume in 2017 and scored some really good reviews. Metal Injection defined it their best album thus far. The band formed in the late ‘80s and released their debut record Those Who Fear Tomorrow in 1991.
No Warning, however, preceded Integrity on the bridge and was able to complete their performance. The hardcore band released their latest record titled Torture Culture in 2017, which represents their comeback album after 13 years of silence. Their debut self-titled EP was released and followed by their first studio LP titled III Blood in 2002.
