YOB are set to soon release their anxiously awaited album Our Raw Heart according to The Prp. Relapse Records have recently announced the date as June 8th. Vocalist Mike Scheidt has said about the album: “We’re very excited to share this new music. We gave it everything we have. Going from an uncertain future in the beginning of 2017, to writing and then recording a new album at the end of it, it was quite a year. We’re very grateful. We’re looking forward to hitting the road again and celebrating decibels and good cheer with friends worldwide. Can’t wait.” The album was produced by the band with Billy Barnett in Eugene, OR at Gung Ho Studios.
Now, in support and anticipation of their upcoming record, YOB have announced a tour with doom metal rockers Bell Witch. Last year, YOB had to postpone some February dates due to the singer Mike Scheidt underwent successful intenstinal surgery. Even earlier, in 2014, YOB released the ever-increidible Clearing the Path to Ascend.
