Kaada Releases Gripping Symphonic New Song “Farewell”

According to Patton Fanatic, John Kaada has released new song titled “Farewell” that has been a part of a larger series of singles releases in support of his upcoming album Closing Statements. You can hear the new single on any digital musical streaming platform. You can also listen to it through Sound Cloud below!

The song begins with a melancholic piano introduction that slowly develops. Soon, strings join in on the percussive instrument to bring in more emotion. Suddenly, an arpeggiated synth joins in, building the excitement. Soon, though, everything joins in on what becomes a modern symphonic journey that brings a golden delight to the ears.

Kaada’s past works also include a collection of collaborations with the greta Mike Patton. The albums, Bacteria Cult and Romance,  were created across a large twelve years.  Kaada ad Patton released in the latter of the two in 2004 with a rather deceptive title for the musical content. Bacteria Cult was released much later in 2016 with a more experimental approach.

Kaada is a Norwegian producer and composer with a career expanding over a wide range of musical fields such as motion picture soundtracks and live performances. His ‘debut’ started in 2001 when he released his first solo album Thank You for Giving Me Your Valuable Time. The collection of music features a large and brilliant blend of genres from all over the world.

Many know Mike Patton as the lead singer of 1990’s alt-metal rockers Faith No More as well as Mr. Bungle and Tomahawk. Not only has he dug his hands into the music world, but he has also known to been involved within the film industry and compelling work in video games. Patton’s film work began in 2005 when he composed the soundtrack to the indie flick Pinion. He has also acted as two characters in the same film Firecracker.

In 2007, Patton provided his voice for the indie video game hit Portal as well as the more mainstream Left 4 Dead. Listen carefully and see if you can spot it out!
