Jim Coleman of Cop Shoot Cop Announces New Project This Wilderness and Debut Album Sorry About Tomorrow for May 2018 Release

Cop Shoot Cop’s Jim Coleman has announced a new project along with an upcoming album Sorry About Tomorrow. The album will be released on May 4th.

Sorry About Tomorrow is the debut album for the new project called This Wilderness. This Wilderness is an New York/New Jersey based electro-punk duo between Jim Coleman and Robert O. Leaver. The two artist first met at a New Year’s Eve party in 2015.  Since the forming of the duo, audiences have been joining the live shoes and performances. The duo is described as “a thrilling and vital expression that feels completely personal and intensely universal.” To this duo, Leaver brings the workings of acoustic based while Coleman brings the works of electronic.

According to the press release, the recording process has grappled “not only with angst and lost hopes, but also the fearless effort to live on in these times of political, personal, and social disillusionment. Deep grooves, seductive melodies and unnerving lyrics speak of identity, loss, celebration, fear, and the absurdity of existence.” The album was recorded at Upper Studio in New Jersey and produced by Jim Coleman. The track list or the album artwork have not been released.
