Indie rock stalwarts The Decemberists have announced the lineup for their Travelers’ Rest Festival, and it looks packed with talent, making for one of the best festival lineups in North America. Joining The Decemberists at the two-day festival are the likes of Mavis Staples, Jeff Tweedy, Death Cab for Cutie, tUnE-yArDs, and many more. Taking place at the Big Sky Brewing CO Amphitheater in Missoula, MT on August 4th and 5th, the festival will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the summer festival season.
This marks the 2nd year of the festival, which combines eclectic indie rock and alternative rock bands with the pastoral views of the beautiful Montana wilderness.
The Decemberists have been gearing up for the release of a new album; I’ll Be Your Girl, which is set to drop on March 16th. Produced by the Grammy Award-winning John Congleton, the record is shaping up to be one of the most impressive albums of the year.
