Longtime indie and punk musician Ted Leo is set for a new tour with his band The Pharmacists, celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of their sophomore release as a full band, and Leo’s third record, Hearts of Oak. According to Brooklyn Vegan, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists will play two nights in each city they visit, with the first night including a set of Hearts of Oak in its entirety.
The group will also play recent songs from Leo’s September 2017 release The Hanged Man, and the band’s last release as a whole, 2010’s The Brutalist Bricks. The second night of each stop will include songs from the entire discography of Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, ranging back to 1999. Ted Leo will also be speaking at the “Changing the Game: Artists as Leaders” panel at SXSW, where he’ll discuss the “challenges and opportunities in the music business,” such as “who are the real leaders” and “how can we have a healthier ecosystem for all?” Check out the full list of dates below.
