Watch Sufjan Stevens Play Oscar-Nominated “Mystery Of Love” at the Academy Awards with St. Vincent, Moses Sumney, Chris Thile and More

At tonight’s Academy Awards in Los Angeles, CA, Sufjan Stevens is performing a star-studded rendition of his song “Mystery Of Love,” from the film Call Me By Your Name. The song is nominated for Best Original Song and is one of three songs Stevens wrote for the Luca Guadagnino-directed movie, which is nominated for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. Joining him on stage were St. Vincent, Moses Sumney, Chris Thile, Casey Foubert and James McAlister.

Other songs that Stevens added to the soundtrack for the movie include “Visions of Gideon” and remix of his song “Futile Devices” from Age of Adz. The tracks are set to be released on April 21 as a part of Record Store Day 2018. Stevens was recently featured on Laura Veirs’ great new song “Watch Fire.”
