Stone Sour, the heavy metal band, has unveiled a new Spring headlining tour. The band will hit the road with a stop at the Welcome To Rockville festival in Jacksonville, Florida on April 28th followed by an appearance at Fort Rock. After that, Corey Taylor and company will trek off officially on May 1st with rotating support from Palaye Royale, The Bronx and ’68 in selected cities. The run will conclude May 16 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Tickets for the Spring tour go on sale this Friday, March 2nd via the Stone Sour’s official website except for the Chattanooga, Nashville, and Madison markets. Those tickets will go on sale the following Friday on March 9th. The band is touring in support of their sixth studio album, Hydrograd, which came out last June. The new record includes hits such as “Song #3” and “Rose Red Violent Blue (This Song Is Dumb & So Am I).” The first one of shows started early this year in January and judging by the newly added shows, the band doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon.
In August, Stone Sour will hit the road once again to support Ozzy Osbourne on the initial North American leg of the legendary vocalist’s “No More Tours 2” tour which kicks off August 30 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
