Boomtown Festival has announced its lineup for its 2018 event on August 9th to 12th in Hampshire, United Kingdom. This year’s lineup includes Soulfly, who will be co-headlining with Nile on a spring tour, Napalm Death, who have released “Oh So Pseudo”, and Earth Crisis.
Boomtown Festival is an annual festival that explores different genres such as metal, punk, ska-punk, doom, psych, stoner rock and metalcore. This year will mark the festival’s tenth chapter.
This year’s lineup includes Voodo Glow Skulls, Capdown, Jaya The Cat, H09909, The Rumjacks, Inner Terrestrials, Sonic Boom Six, Random Hand, Citizen Fish, The Adolescents, Moscow Death Bridge, The Filaments, Oi Polloi, Los Fastidios, Rats in the Wall, Steve Ignorant’s Slice of Life, Clowns, Work Unit, New Town Kings, Deat the Red Light, Bar Stool Preachers, Crazy Arm, Roughneck Riot, Grand Collapse, Firepit Collective, Dream Nails, Revenge of the Rsychotronic Man, Ghouls, Pizzatramp, Spanner, Nosebleed, 24 Robbers, 24 Hour Punks, Mick O’Toole. In the Earache Factory, Soulfly, Naplam Death, Idles, HO99O9, Eearth Crisis, Hacktivist, Feed The Rhino, Conan, Turbowolf, Eskimo Callboy, Haggard Cat, Samsara Blues Experiment, Church of the Cosmic Skull, Massive Wagons, and Vodun will be performing. According to the press release, Lak Mitchell, the founder of the festival, comments “We’re seriously excited about expanding on the heavy live music side of the festival… The first event I ever put on was a heavy metal gig when I was 16 and have been in various thrash/punk/metal bands ever since, so to represent such an amazing musical culture within the context of Boomtown is insanely exciting and I can’t wait to see where this takes us.” Tickets can be bought through the festival’s website.
