Justin Townes Earle Announces Solo Acoustic Spring 2018 Tour Dates

Justin Townes Earle has announced that he will be touring in the United State, beginning form May 6, 2018 in British Columbia. Justin Townes Earle will perform his latest works, as well as his most acclaimed album Kids In The Street, in an intimate setting. His latest album Kids In The Street received a worldwide fame. NPR Music, Rolling Stone, UPROXX, Associated Press, and many more have reflected that Kids In The Street, is Justin Townes Earle’s finest work to date.  Kids In The Street was produced by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Jenny Lewis) at ARC Studios, and marked the first time that Earle had collaborated with a producer. In an interview last year, Earle told us: “The record label wanted me to think about working with a producer. They brought me a list of probably 20 producers to look at. Mogis was one of the last ones that was actually brought to me and the one that made the most sense to me because he made Jenny Lewis’s Rabbit Fur Coat. It sounds incredible. His sensibility when it comes to recording instruments and his sensibility as a musician completely makes sense to me. I had to be convinced of the idea of using a producer, period.”

Justin Townes Earle’s music reflects his often-punishing life experiences, he explains about his latest album: “Life has changed a lot for me in the last few years. There’s definitely an uplifting aspect to this record in a lot of ways, because I’m feeling pretty positive.” Earle added: “When I wrote songs in the past, I was looking in on what I was feeling, but this record’s more about looking outward on what’s happening and writing about subjects like gentrification and inner-city strife. This record also has more of a soul influence to it, and it’s got a deeper connection to the blues than anything I’ve done before.”
