St. Vincent Covers Pearl Jam’s “Tremor Christ”

Alt-rock singer-songwriter St. Vincent has shared her cover of the song “Tremor Christ” originally performed by the historic band Pearl Jam. The song is from the critically acclaimed 1994 album Vitalogy.

The gripping multi-instrumental player has been releasing records since 2007 when she made her debut with Marry Me. Her 2014 self-titled album won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album. She is known for incorporating many instruments into her complex musical arrangements.

St. Vincent has also covered numerous songs from artists such as “Consideration” by Rihanna, “Modern Girl” by Sleater-Kinney and “London Calling” by The Clash. She even performed the song Lithium with another legendary band, Nirvana, at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma artist released a clip of her covering “Tremor Christ” acoustically before a show in Asheville, North Carolina.

St. Vincent is currently on tour behind her 2017 album Masseduction which was named the second best album of 2017. The song Los Ageless was ranked number one on the top 50 songs of 2017.
