Brendon Small has finally confirmed that he will release a live action short film based on his latest studio album Galaktikon II: Become the Storm. Brendon shared the news on his twitter page, after having teased the project several times during the past year. The short film follows the superhero Triton through his messy divorce. The film is expected to arrive soon. Brendon Small, is the co-creator of the animated television shows such as Metalocalypse, and Home Movies, and the creator of the beloved virtual death metal band Dethklok. Small entered the death metal music scene with his animated series Metalocalypse. Brendon Small co-created the series with the help of Tommy Blacha. The show follows the fan favorite melodic death metal band Dethklok. Brendon has released five albums in support of the show including Dethalbum in 2007, Dethalbum II in 2009, Dethalbum III in 2012, The Doomstar Requiem in 2013, Galaktikon II: Become the Storm in 2017. Brendon Small, and Tommy Blacha joined forces in 2007 to create the real-life version of the band to promote and perform the albums. Brendon Small’s latest album Galaktikon II: Become the Storm, features Gene Hoglan on drums and Bryan Beller on bass. The album marks Small’s second solo album. Gene Hoglan, who has been acting as the drummer of Dethklok since 2007, has suggested that the album will serve as a “new Dethklok album”, due to Adult Swim holding the rights to the Dethklok name.
