Alt-J has announced spring tour dates from April 7th in Denver, Colorado to June 26th in Mexico City, Mexico. This follows the announcement that the band will be performing at Mountain Jam Music Festival and the release of a music video for “Pleader”.
According to the press release, the shows will feature a “surround speaker system, using immersive hyper realism technology, to envelope the entire audience in an incredible surround sound experience.” Along with the tour, the band is currently working with many collaborators on a reinterpretation of the recent album Relaxer.
The band will begin in the west part of the United States and move to the east with each date continuing the tour. Along with the dates in the United States, the band will also be performing in Ontario, Canada, Monterrey, Mexico, and Mexico City, Mexico near the end of the tour. The tour also makes stops at many festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Firefly, and Mountain Jam. The tour dates are listed below.
