L7 Shoot Raw Footage In New Video for “I Came Back To Bitch”

L7 performing at the Granada Theater in Dallas on July 14th 216

L7, grudge/metal band from Los Angeles, returned from a eighteen-year hiatus last September with their song “Dispatch From Mar-a-Lago.” It was a track created for the documentary on the band entitled L7: Pretend We’re Dead, which was screened all around the country back in October. The documentary featured commentary from Joan Jett, Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, Garbage’s Shirley Manson, X’s Exene Cervenka, the Distillers’ Brody Dalle, Lydia Lunch, and more.

Their new song, “I Came Back to Bitch,” was written with the idea that “everything is going to shit,” as vocalist/guitarist Donita Sparks told Rolling Stone. “Some folkies grab an acoustic guitar,” she continued, “we have a different approach. We are here to bitch… because we’re real.” The band also has a string of shows set for April in the U.S.
