Beck has announced a U.S spring tour from February 24th to August 19th. According to Consequence of Sound, this tour is to support Beck’s 13th studio album Colors.
The artist will be touring in countries such as the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Ireland, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Japan. Within these dates, the artist will be performing at many festivals mostly as a headliner, including Auckland City Limits Festival, Sydney City Limits Festival, In Bloom Music Festival, and Ceremonia Festival. The tour dates are listed below.
UPDATE (3/16): Beck has extended the North American tour in order to support Colors. The July tour dates are added along with a September 22nd date. Oh Wonder will be performing with Beck on the first three July dates, while Glass Animals will be performing with Beck on the last two July dates. According to the press release, the tour has had positive reviews such as Times of London calling it “A joyous, bewilderingly diverse set…like a one-man festival….among modern pop stars perhaps only Prince had more range”.
UPDATE (7/10): According to a press release, Glass Animals are unable to join Beck on his July tour dates. Instead, Jenny Lewis will fill in, performing at Madison Square Garden on July 19 and then July 20 at Festival Pier in Philadelphia.
