NEW MUSIC ALERT: Mammoth Grinder Share Video for Brutal Punk Metal Song “Locust’s Nest”

In a constant flux of new music, it becomes increasingly harder to keep track of every release. Don’t worry, though, as mxdwn is here for you! Today, February 1, Mammoth Grinder has given their audience a heavy, industrial new music video for their punk-metal song “Locust’s Nest.” The track and video are off their brand new album Cosmic Crypt which features punk-focused metal music with the vocals that instantly bring the mind into an extreme-metal state. The video features quick cuts that follows the insane speed of the drums and guitar. Check out the Jenn Smith directed video below.

Following this video, Mammoth Grinder will head out on February 2nd, this friday, for their United States headlining tour. The tour will begin in Washington D.C.and will venture forth until March 3rd in Montclair, NJ. Openers will include the likes of Gatecreeper, Genocide Pact, and more!

Cosmic Crypt is the trio’s fourth full-length album and also marks the return of Mammoth Grinder from their five year hiatus. The band recorded the album themselves in New Jersey but had Arthur Rizk mix the album. Frontman of Mammoth Grinder Chris Ulsh decidedly recruited two new members to the band so as to take their songwriting and stage chemistry to a new and beautifully destructive band. New members are Mark Bronzino and Ryan Parrish (both of Iron Reagan). Cover art was designed by the amazing Joe Petagno who has designed album covers for the likes of Motorhead, Autopsy, and Pink Floyd. Check out Mammoth Grinder’s full tour list below.
