2018 has already shown it will be a great year for music just 24 days in. And thanks to Lily Allen, it’s about to get even better. Through a press release, Lily Allen has released a new video for her single “Trigger Bang” (featuring Giggs) that pulls no punches from its first millisecond of playing. Directed by Myles Whittingham the video is set in London, England. It follows younger doppelgangers of Allen and Giggs enjoying the luxuries of their success respectively. “Trigger Bang” was produced by Fryar, a longtime Lily Allen collaborator over the past years. “Trigger Bang” is the first track off Allen’s record No Shame.
In support of this video and her forthcoming album No Shame, Lily Allen has announced a small thread of intimate live performance located across the United Kingdom in March. Don’t worry, though, she will soon announce tour dates that will take her to Europe and the United States as well. Check out the video for “Trigger Bang featuring Giggs” below. You can also stream the track here.
In the past, Lily Allen has been nominated for the “Best Alternative Album” Grammy for her album Alright, Still. The album also reached certified gold record in the United States. Lastly, she has also held three U.K. number 1 singles, two number one albums and has sold more than 5 million albums across the world. Check out the list of tour dates below.
