American pop duo Sleigh Bells have released their latest music video today for “Favorite Transgressions”, the second track off their most recent mini-LP Kid Kruchev released in November. and it follows their last release of the video for “And Saints“. The New York based duo of Alexis Krauss and Derek Edward Miller, who directed this video, set out to a manic, dynamic energy thriller with the playful morbidity fans know, love and expect from the group.

The video is shot in a home-movie style footage, in what appears to be the duo setting out on a drive in their pickup truck through the streets surrounded by palm trees. Taking inspiration from horror classics like The Blair Witch Project, and other similar films, this  music video cuts through different scenes of singer Alexis Krauss singing on the back of the truck, standing and staring into a field, in front of a McDonald’s restaurant, all with dark and ominous tones. As the video comes to an end, there is a text that appears on the video saying the duo had died in an accident and were pronounced dead on arrival, but did they?

Following this new video was the announcement of Sleigh Bells Winter 2018 tour dates, spanning from today and ending in the middle of February. This tour the duo will take will start and end on the East Coast, with the first show in Brooklyn, New York, at Rough Trade, and the last show being in Washington D.C. at the 9:30 club. Each show will hold a unique experience that will showcase the new material the group has been working on, as well as some old classics fans love.
