The Distillers has announced a short spring reunion tour, after hinting at the return of the group.
As stated by Pitchfork, the band announced their official breakup in 2006. This followed the departure of drummer Andy Granelli and bassist Ryan Sinn. Brody Dalle and guitarist Tony Bevilacqua moved on to form a new band, Spinerette, who released a self-titled record in 2009. In 2014, Dalle released Diploid Love as a solo debut album. In the video hinting at return, there are crytpic visuals with a sample of new music. The caption states “THE DISTILLERS 2018”.
