Hinds, the all-female garage rock band from Madrid, Spain, have announced their sophomore record and U.S. tour info for 2018, promising to be “bigger, better, faster, funnier” and “more dexterous” than ever before. The group previously made headlines with their debut record Leave Me Alone back in January 2016, wherein half of the proceeds of sales from Attendance Records went to music and journalism programs for public schools in Austin, TX.
Co-produced by Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor) and engineered by Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Perfume Genius), I Don’t Run, Hinds second record, is set to be released on April 6th via Mom + Pop. According to the group’s press release, the album continues “their quest to own their narrative – one of sisters doing it for themselves.” Guitarist and vocalist Ana Perrote described the process saying that they “loved making this album.” It’s “a new start for us,” she continued, “and we’re fucking ready.”
