Dita Von Teese Announces February Release Date for New Album and Shares New Song “Bird of Prey”

Music fans were undoubtedly intrigued when famous burlesque dancer and fashion icon Dita Von Teese announced late last year that she would be releasing a solo album of music with the acclaimed songwriter Sébastien Tellier and now they have yet another new song to listen to from the collaboration, “Bird of Prey.” Von Teese’s self-titled debut album also has a release date: February 16th via the Parisian record label Record Makers.

The dreamy “Bird of Prey” features plenty of vintage synthesizers and breezy atmospherics to complement the sultry vocals of Von Teese. Tellier teamed up with acclaimed musicians John Kirby (Blood Orange, Money Mark, and Solange) and drummer Daniel Stricker (Midnight Juggernauts) to produce a collection of songs that take the listener back in time while also maintaining many of the unpredictable twists and turns that people have come to expect from Tellier.
