Two heavy elite bands are coming together, not to duke it out but to collaborate. East Coast crossover titans and death metal crew Gatecreeper are uniting for a split LP that will blow out speakers and make any hardcore fan bang their heads. This split recording will have five new tracks by Iron Reagon and three new tracks by Gatecreeper and be mixed by Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studios. It will be available March 2nd on CD, LP, and digital formats via Relapse Records.
Iron Reagan is about to kick off their five-date East Coast headlining tour which will start tomorrow in Washington D.C. Gatecreeper have their dates this year. They will be performing a few exclusive shows on January 27th at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York which will be presented by Revolver Magazine. The band is also playing two concerts in February in Arizona with Mammoth Grinder who they share labels along with a few festival appearances at both Modified Ghost Festival III and Northwest Terror Fest. Iron Reagan formed in 2012 and comprised of Tony Foresta, Phil Hall, Mark Bronzino, Rob Skotis, and Ryan Parrish. They released a demo Ep followed by their full-length debut, Worse Than Dead via A389 Recordings. After a few label splits, they signed with Relapse Records and in 2014, released their self-produced full-length sophomore album, The Tyranny Of Will. Since then, they have toured nonstop, and in 2017, the band released Crossover Ministry.
Gatecreeper formed in September of 2013 with members that stretched from both Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. The band recorded and released a self-titled four-song EP digitally in 2014. The following year saw the heavy metal band touring the West Coast for the first time. Soon after, they released a split 7″ with fellow Arizonans Take Over And Destroy. They then spent the rest of 2015 touring the other side of North America as well as recording new material that would come out on several different split releases throughout early 2016. Inwith the live cassette Unleashed In The Middle East recorded in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the Sweltering Madness 7″ (Closed Casket Activities.)
