Dana Buoy of Akron/Family Releases Lusty And Lysergic New Song “Ice Glitter Gold”

Dana Buoy from Akron/ Family has released a song called “Ice Glitter Gold”. This follows the artist’s release of Preacher EP.

According to the press release, “Ice Glitter Gold” is a work by the artist with the long time collaborator Justin Miller. The artist “deliver a sweaty, late-night pop record with analogue 4 on the floor heartbeats throbbing at the center.”

The songs in this upcoming album were written in the Oregon coast, then recorded in Portland and New York. Production involved the artist, John Morgan Askew and Abe Seiferth at Flora Recording & Playback, Scenic Burrows, and Transmitter Park Studios.

The song has a fast repetitive electronic beat that fades in as the seconds pass by. The drums immediately follow. The vocals give more to the groovy tune. The song goes from “moments of exuberant, open heartedness and woozy, hallucinatory introspection”. The song can be listened to below.
