Justin Timberlake Announces New Album Man Of The Woods for February 2018 Release And Previews With Trailer Video

Fans have been waiting patiently since 2013’s excellent The 20/20 Experience for Justin Timberlake to release a new album, and now the singer has dropped the details for his new record, Man of the Woods, set to be released in February, days before his performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. As reported by Pitchfork, the album will feature collaborations with Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton along with production work from longtime collaborators Timbaland and The Neptunes. Rolling Stone recently shared the trailer for Man of the Woods, which say Timberlake taking on the look and feel of a rugged everyman, walking through rough terrain and sitting by a fire in the middle of the night.

The first single from the album, “Filthy” was released on Friday, with the eye-catching music video directed by none other than Mark Romanek, who is known for his work directing iconic videos for artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift, Johnny Cash, Nine Inch Nails, Jay-Z, and Madonna.

“Filthy” sees Timberlake channeling his inner Steve Jobs, donning a black turtleneck and presenting some innovative new technology: a provocative dancing robot.

Timberlake has remained in the spotlight in recent years, working on the soundtrack to the animated film Trolls and appearing on the new Foo Fighters album Concrete and Gold, guesting on the song “Make It Right.”
