Frightened Rabbit Releases Soothing New Song “No Real Life”

Frightened Rabbit has released a song called “No Real Life”. This follows the band’s performance at Brooklyn Steel and Electric Fields Festival.

According to Stereogum, the song was produced to encourage donations to Alzheimer Scotland, the band’s choice of charity, during the holiday season. When the band released the song and added the announcement on Twitter, they stated “With your help, their aim is to make sure that nobody in this country faces dementia alone.”

The song goes from intervals of slow paced with the solo guitar to fast paced with the mix of drumming. There’s an soothing echoing touch in the vocals as the singer talks about what Alzheimer’s does as it talks about memory loss and confusion. The song can be listened to below.
