Wavves has released a cover of “Christmas Time Is Here”. This follows the band’s release of “Up and Down” with Culture Abuse and the performance with Culture Abuse.
According to the press release, the cut was produced by Roshi’s Garden and is in support of their final tour dates of 2017. This is a cover of the classic “A Charlie Brown Christmas” by the Vince Guaraldi Trio.
As the video shows the characters are walking through the snow and enjoying the winter weather, the song has the style of the old Wavves. There is a old style echoing following each lyric spoken. There is soft playing of the instruments. While the instruments repeat and the vocals take a pause, Charlie Brown and Linus van Pelt have a conversation together. The song can be listened to below.
