Jimmy Eat World @ Riviera Theatre (5/8)

It appears as though the band Jimmy Eat World is prepared to once again hop on the road again. The rock band recently announced a small set of headlining tour dates reaching cities across North America such as Brooklyn, Nashville, and luckily, Chicago. ‘Integrity Blues the Tour’ will of course be supporting their latest release Integrity Blues, and it will also make a few stops in Europe before eventually wrapping up on the East Coast.

We all remember the Arizona rock band that started in the early 90s. The formerly trailblazing pop-punk crew set themselves apart from the rest in 1999 with their album Clarity, that has said to be a landmark for the emo genre. However, the most memorable moment for most is when their fan base became widespread after their smash hit “The Middle” was released in the year 2000.

In addition to their new tour announcement, the band also revealed the release of an acoustic EP that features unplugged versions of songs “Get Right”, “Sure and Certain”, and the title track from Integrity Blues. The EP has since been released, so fans can expect to see acoustic and original versions of these tunes on the tour.

Current members that will be spotted on the tour include Jim Adkins (lead guitar/vocals), Zach Lind (drums/programming), Tom Linton (rhythm guitar/backing vocals), and Rick Burch (bass guitar).

Do not miss your chance to rock out with some talented and wholehearted musicians as they both flood back memories from past years, as well as share some of their amazing new music. Tickets are already on sale for the 18+ event, so follow the link below to get yours!
