Marissa Paternoster and Laura Veirs Release Live Performance Video of Screaming Females Song “Deeply”

Screaming Females, the New Jersey DIY-punk group is getting ready to release their seventh studio album All At Once. The new record is slated to come out February 23rd, 2018 via Don Giovanni Records. Recently, the band shared the single “Deeply” with a creative lyric video showcasing front-woman Marissa Paternoster’s artistic side. Marissa and Lara Veirs came together more recently to collaborate and record the new “Deeply” live video which premieres today.

Stripped down, “Deeply” feels more like a folk number than the booming ballad it had been initially released as. With the help from singer-singer Lara Veirs, the two create an intimate song meant to be replayed over and over again.

Recorded at the home studio of The Thermals’ frontman Hutch Harris, the pair slide into the song so easily wrapping up the listener in their little world. When the two reach the refrain – And I fall/ So deeply and I fall” – Veirs vocals rise sweetly climbing in harmony with Paternoster. It is an intimate video one doesn’t always see in the music world.

All At Once will mark the trio’s seventh album and follows Rose Mountain which hit stores back in 2015. In October, Screaming Females shared the track “Glass House” alongside the turbulent music video directed by Kate Sweeney. The new album is slated to drop for the public in various formats including Digital, CD, Double-LP vinyl with a Limited Edition 7” and a Deluxe Limited Edition LPx3 with the 7” and an exclusive bonus LP of album demos. Fans can pre-order any of the above formats here
