Electric Forest Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Bassnectar, Cut Copy and The Glitch Mob

According to Billboard, Electric Forest is back with all its trippy goodness and have just dropped its 2018 lineup with big names on the ticket. The electric event will feature Bassnectar and String Cheese Incident who are headlining both weekends, along with Cut Copy and The Glitch Mob who are making their return to Electric Forest after four years. Both weekends will also feature a full-band performance from Griz, electronic space travel with RÜFÜS DU SOL, and enthralling sultriness from ZHU. The Michigan event has also announced repeat appearances by Chromeo, Bonobo (Live), The Glitch Mob, Louis The Child, and Xavier Rudd, and a lot of these acts plan to bring a different setlist to each experience.

For fans who are wondering what’s different in each weekend, take note that  Lil Dicky, Jauz, Green Velvet, Washed Out, Keys N Krates only play the first weekend, while deadmau5’s techno alias Testpilot, REZZ, Datsik, SuperDuperKyle, and Get Real come through for weekend two. Electric Forest returns to Rothbury, MI., Thursday through Sunday, June 21st to 24th, and June 28th to July 1st. Tickets are on sale on the Electric Forest website to loyalty fan members Dec. 7, while general sale tickets open up Dec. 15. Check out the full lineup for both weekends below.

I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
