Avenged Sevenfold Guitarist Synyster Gate Will Perform With An Orchestra at Game Awards

The Game Awards, an event that honors the best video games of the year at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA, is set for a special performance this year. Hosting Avenged Sevenfold Guitarist Synyster Gate, The PRP reports that the The Game Awards will presumably run through famous and current video game music backed by a full orchestra.

Recently, Avenged Sevenfold announced deluxe version of their record The Stage, and put out a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here.” M. Shadows of the band paid tribute to the late Chester Bennington at the Linkin Park tribute show, and their current lawsuit against Warner Bros. seems to be very important for the music industry, and what relations and contracts between the artist and the label will exist in the future, regarding what party owes the other before they can conclude their partnership. Avenged Sevenfold state that Warner Bros. cannot hold them to their contract since they’ve passed the “Seven Year Rule,” yet Warner Bros. remains firm to the contract’s five studio albums and a couple live albums that the band signed to before release.
