Watain Announce Spring 2018 Tour Dates

Infamous Swedish black metal group Watain have announced a full-scale winter/spring tour of North America, with Destroyer 666 supporting as reported by Brooklyn Vegan. The tour dates will be in support of their upcoming album, Trident Wolf Eclipse, which will be released on January 5th via Century Media Records. It will be the band’s first new set of recordings since 2013 pummeling The Wild Hunt and from the sound of the first single, “Nuclear Alchemy,” the record will be one of 2018’s most fearsome metal releases.

Known for their outrageous stage shows that feature satanic rituals, pyrotechnics, and animal carcasses, Watain will undoubtedly bring their uncompromising sonic brutality to the stage once again, much to the delight of their fans. Like many Scandinavian black metal bands, the members of Watain are theistic Satanists, with frontman Erik Danielsson even playing with notorious black metal group Dissection during their final tour in 2006.
