After a string of successful tours in 2017, Justin Vernon aka Bon Iver has announced series of live dates for 2018 on Twitter, with a three-night stand in Austin Texas along with a few other concerts in Texas and Mexico. Vernon is hot on the heels of releasing his acclaimed 22, A Million album last year, which continued his trademark blend of indie rock sensibility with poetic and personal lyrics.
While it seems like only yesterday, Bon Iver’s first album, the incredible breakup album For Emma, Forever Ago was released a decade ago and catapulted Vernon to exceptional heights. However, it was 2011’s self-titled album that broke Vernon into the mainstream, racking up massive sales and massive critical success, earning him a Grammy Award for best new artist.
