Emo Nite Day Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring The Used, From First To Last and Finch

Distinct from the various “Emo Nights” held all across the country throughout the year, the Los Angeles based Emo Nite may be the most well known event that allows people to return to their inner adolescent and bask in a collective love for emo rock music from the 90’s, 2000’s, and even today.

Emo Nite, which had begun in a dive bar in Echo Park, has, since its inception three years ago, spread all over the country. And to celebrate their Anniversary, they have teamed up with Goldenvoice to present a very special all-day festival titled Emo Nite Day.

Taking over Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA on December 3rd, 2017, the event will bring together every element that “Emo Nite fans love including live performances and DJ sets on multiple stages, art installations, food trucks, carnival games, and more.”

Emo Nite LA was started by three friends (Babs Szabo, T.J. Petracca and Morgan Freed) back in 2014, and has since grown to include different notable artists and musicians from all genres that have been inspired by emo and pop punk music. Many have either DJ’d or performed at the events, which happen monthly in Los Angeles and regularly around the country in cities like New York City, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Louisville, Phoenix, Dallas, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Kansas, Las Vegas, Seattle, Orlando and Portland.

The Emo Nite Founders are able to bring together people from diverse backgrounds including fans, well-known classic artists, and up and coming bands. As Music Connection recently stated “Overall, it’s refreshing to see artists who have made their name in different genres appreciate-and rock out at that-to the emo scene’s music-this just proves that Emo Nite continues succeeding at its mission to bring together the community through the power of music.”

The event has just announced a lineup for the occasion, save a few “????”s to leave some surprises for the fans. Some of the artists who will be performing include The Used, Tigers Jaw, Mom Jeans., and Finch.
