Godspeed You! Black Emperor Announce Spring 2018 Tour Dates

Godspeed You! Black Emperor has announced 2018 tour following the release of their latest album Luciferian Towers. The band will perform across Mexico and the U.S. and a performance at Houston’s Day for Night Festival after closing out their European tour. Godspeed formed in 1994 in Montreal, Quebec. They recently released  the opening track to their newest album in August, called “Undoing Luciferian Towers.”

Luciferian Towers came out in September and follows their 2015 release, Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress. The band said the album was “informed by the following grand demands: an end to borders, the total dismantling of the prison-industrial complex, healthcare, housing, food and water acknowledged as an inalienable human right and the expert fuckers who broke this world never get to speak again.”

Amber Washington: Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, majored in Media & Professional Communication. I play tennis and am always on the lookout for new music, very grateful for Apple Music. I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
