Neil Young Announces New Album With The Promise of the Real The Visitor for December 2017 Release

According to Brooklyn Vegan, Neil Young has has reunited with the Promise of the Real for his 39th solo studio album, The Visitor. The 10-track album is due in stores December 1 and available to pre-order now. It marks Young’s first studio recording with the band since 2015’s The Monsanto Years. 

The Visitor follows closely on the heels of Young’s most recent release, Hitchhiker, which arrived in September. Along with the new album he has also shared his lead single from the album, “Already Great,” a response to Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan. “You’re already great / You’re the promised land / You’re the helping hand,” Young sings on the chorus. Listen to the song it below.
